With "Somebody Up There Likes Me," the film about the 50-year career of the legendary guitarist of the Rolling Stones will be released on October 09. The film about Ronnie Wood was directed by Oscar-nominated director Mike Figgis (Leaving Las Vegas). The film ran at both the BFI London Film Festival 2019 and the Tribeca Film Festival 2020. The documentary features brand new interviews with the companions of Ronnie Wood, such as his Rolling Stones colleagues Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Charlie Watts, as well as his bandmate of Faces, Rod Stewart. Other interviewees include Woods wife Sally Wood, singer Imelda May and artist Damien Hirst, as well as current performances and archive material from Woods' moving career. "Somebody Up There Likes Me" is released as DVD, Blu-ray and a limited deluxe edition. The formats include all bonus performances of Ronnie as well as two mini-features. The deluxe format is a limited 40-page hardcover special with pictures, paintings and annotations by Ronnie, which are exclusively available for this format. It also includes an exclusive essay by Paul Sexton, with DVD and Blu-ray of the documentary.

Vanessa Mai live at the Berlin Tempodrom For two and a half hours, Vanessa Mai rocked the stage of the sold-out Tempodrom in Berlin on October 10, 2016. With "Für dich - Live aus Berlin" there is now a recording of the live spectacle, both as a concert film and live album. After both the Wintergarten and the Friedrichstadtpalast turned out to be too small for the fan rush, the concert was moved to the Tempodrom, which after all has 3,000 seats. The result was a gigantic hit party with a Vanessa Mai, who heated up the crowd with numerous hits and a rousing stage performance. Mai sang a total of 25 songs that evening, including classics such as "Wachgeküsst", "Wolke 7", "In all deinen Farben" and many more. Of course the pop princess also sang some songs from her new album "Für dich", for example "Ich sterb für dich", "Meilenweit" and "Ohne dich". With "Für dich - Live aus Berlin" the entire recording of the concert is now available on DVD and Blu-ray as well as on double CD. The bonus material on DVD and Blu-ray also includes picture galleries from the concert evening. 2008 saw the Queen of Rock "n" Roll, Tina Turner return to the live circuit and announce the 'Tina Turner's 50th Anniversary Concert Tour' much to the delight of her fans. The tour kicked off in Kansas in October 2008 and continued for six months visiting over ten countries in two continents.
Tina performed an astounding ninety shows, repeatedly selling out, with nightly standing ovations. Millions of fans and critics alike were blown away by Tina's age defying high-octane performances showing that the star has no sign of slowing down at nearly 70 years young. The megastar delivered an energetic, powerful, uncompromised two hour set performing classic hits with incredible musicians, vocalists, dancers and ninjas, supported by stunning production, innovative choreography, spectacular lighting, pyrotechnics and much more.
As Tina finished the final show in Sheffield in May 2009 she said, "I have been overwhelmed, astounded and taken to new heights by the reaction of the thousands of fans who came to see me every night. This has been a tour to remember, to hold dear in my heart and what a way to celebrate my 50 years in the business.to sum up.it's been super!"
To commemorate this record breaking world tour Parlophone will release the Tina Live DVD on 28th September. The DVD was filmed at GelreDome, Arnhem in Holland in March 2009 where Tina played to an enormous crowd of 70,000 people.
Directed by David Mallet for Serpent Productions, he says, 'Tina is modest. The credits for her stage career should always have read "staged by Tina Turner". As such it has been a positive pleasure over the years to translate her intentions onto film."
This breathtaking footage is filmed in HD and mixed in 5.1 surround sound. At over two hours long it features all of her much loved songs including, 'The Best', 'Private Dancer' and the powerful 'We Don't Need Another Hero'.
